VOTE by MAIL
The new “Vote-By-Mail” ballot, introduced in July 2009, is easy to use. Designed and formatted to ensure accurate election results, the new ballot is read “optically” by a scanner and less apt to make an error.
Now, voters using a pencil or black/blue ink pen, mark their selection on the ballot. Once returned to the Union County Board of Elections, the ballot is optically read and tallied on Election Day.
NJ 2019 Citizens Guide to Government
Each year the League of Women Voters of New Jersey Education Fund produces the New Jersey Citizen's Guide to Government. The Citizen's Guide, our premier publication, is a comprehensive pocket-sized resource on all elected officials, state departments and divisions. It also contains information on voting districts, as well as general voting and election information. This guide, which is edited and updated every year, has been used for over 50 years by schools, libraries, businesses, organizations, and individuals as a reference for information about government.
